2020 Vision: The Future of Social TV

MobiTVThe television industry is experiencing more consolidation than ever. Recently, Yahoo shut down IntoNow and Viggle bought Dijit, both taking place on the heels of blooming TV partnerships such as the collaboration between Comcast, NBCUniversal and Twitter. The important thing to note about all of this consolidation is that each of these moves―and more―are in some way related to the concept of second screening and the overarching social TV phenomenon.
