0

MicrophoneMost of us know that YouTube hosts a grand collection of past radio mix tapes from all formats. Here’s a sampling of some top DJs “from the day” (and more current ones) in NYC that demonstrate incredible two-turntable talent via mix shows for ICBC’s WBLS-FM, the now-defunct Emmis WRKS-FM (Kiss 98.7) and WQHT-FM (Hot 97). They include DJ Funkmaster Flex, DJ Red Alert and Mr. Magic and Marley Marl. Yet another thing that only radio can do–and still does. This was done live and local.
