What’s the good word from Meredith Corp., the Des Moines-based company superserving women with brands including Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle and Parents in addition to serving all consumers through its Local Media Group — comprised of 17 owned or operated television stations in such markets as Atlanta, Phoenix, St. Louis, and Portland, Ore.?


Despite tough comps in a non-political year, its Local Media Group saw revenue, net income and EBITDA that came in higher than any other non-political fiscal Q1 seen by the company.
