Score another point for iHeartMedia in the digital music delivery realm.

The company announced Thursday morning (3/23) that the iHeartRadio live streaming, podcasting, and on-demand digital music app has broken the 100 million registered user mark.

The announcement comes following the January launch of two new on-demand subscription services, iHeartRadio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access powered by Napster.

The arrival of a subscription-based on-demand option came before that of Pandora Media‘s much-ballyhooed Pandora Premiumwhich saw the first stage of its official rollout come the week of March 13.

Darren Davis, President of iHeartRadio, commented, “100 million registered users is an amazing milestone, and we are thrilled to see such great momentum and traction for iHeartRadio. With the official launch of our new on-demand services, we are able to offer even more iHeartRadio features for our listeners who want to enhance their radio experience.”

In addition to its new on-demand features, iHeartRadio continues to expand its podcast offerings. In 2016 iHeartRadio saw a 30% increase in podcast listenership, and the platform currently features more than 5,000 podcasts across 15 different categories. The company also partnered with podcast technology company ART19 to provide listener data to podcast publishers and advertisers.
