A Silent FM In The ‘Conch Republic’ Trades Hands

HOLLYWOOD, FLA. — Some 160 miles from the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area sits Sugarloaf Key, one of the final isles on the long drive on Overseas Highway to Key West — capital of the tongue-in-cheek “Conch Republic.”

It is here that a silent FM that bears the famous calls of a once No. 1-station broadcasting from the World Building in Washington, D.C. resides. This station is now trading hands, in the lone deal featured in RBR+TVBR’s TRANSACTIONS TODAY for June 22.
