ABC.com Ranks as the No. 1 online broadcast site for June 2010, Taking the Top Spot for the 6th Consecutive Month


 ABC’s Freshman Series “The Gates” is June 2010’s No. 1 Program in Unique Viewers, While “The Bachelorette’ Is the Month’s No. 1 in Total Streams

Based on data as reported from Nielsen VideoCensus for June 2010 in the first month of the summer, ABC.com (3.4 million UVs) ranked as the No. 1 online broadcast site for the month in Unique Viewers.  ABC.com’s finish represented the 6th straight month (Jan ’10 – Jun ’10) that the ABC website has taken the top spot.  ABC.com beat CBS Television by 42% (2.4 million UVs), NBC.com by 79% (1.9 million UVs) Fox Broadcasting by 89% (1.8 million UVs), and Cwtv.com by 1385% (229,000 UVs).
 
ABC.com was up in Unique Viewers over the year-ago month (3.4 million UVs vs. 3.3 million UVs).

For viewing of full episodes and short-form content, ABC.com owned 7 of the Top 10 spots during June ’10, including the No. 1 series with the freshman drama “The Gates.”  

ABC.com’s Top 10 entries include “The Gates” (No. 1 – 814,000 Unique Viewers), “The Bachelorette” (No. 2 – 797,000 million UVs), “General Hospital” (No. 3 – 646,000 UVs), “All My Children” (No. 6 – 422,000 UVs), “True Beauty” (No. 7 – 418,000 UVs), “One Life to Live” (No. 9 – 338,000 UVs) and “Wipeout” (No. 10 – 329,000 UVs).
