The new, one-hour daily entertainment news talk show has been sold to the Fox Television Stations group in some of the nation’s top markets, announced Frank Cicha, SVP/Programming, Fox Television Stations, and Sean O’Boyle, EVP/General Manager, Syndication Sales, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

In making the announcement, Cicha stated, “‘Access Hollywood Live’ was particularly attractive to us for those markets where we’ve recently expanded our morning news. We saw this as a timely opportunity to round out a number of our daytime schedules with more live, day and date, news and information programming.”

“Access Hollywood Live,” set to debut in September, will premiere on Fox’s KDFW-TV Dallas/Fort Worth, KRIV-TV Houston, WJBK-TV Detroit, WTVT-TV Tampa, KMSP-TV Minneapolis/St. Paul and WHBQ-TV Memphis.  It was previously announced that “Access Hollywood Live” has also been sold to many of the NBC Local Media stations.

“We are very pleased that Fox has joined us for the select launch of ‘Access Hollywood Live’ on a number of their leading stations,” said O’Boyle. “‘Access Hollywood’ is already a strong brand on these stations and we look forward to successfully extending the franchise to a new daypart.”

“Access Hollywood Live” will focus on the latest celebrity dish, opinions, Hollywood happenings and all the day’s big news. The new show, which will be broadcast live, will feature in-studio guests, a cast of regular contributors and female-friendly segments on the most up-to-date styles, fashion, design trends and more. Executive Producer Rob K. Silverstein and the experienced “Access Hollywood” production team will produce “Access Hollywood Live” from Los Angeles. “Access Hollywood Live” is distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
