AccuRadio will utilize the talents of three veteran radio voice talents for the Country music channels on its Chicago Radio Online and AccuRadio.com brand Internet radio services. Two beloved Chicago voices, Bill Garcia and Nancy Turner, now host Chicago Radio Online’s new Chicago Country channel.

Garcia’s Chicago experience includes Talk radio at WLS, Oldies music at WJMK and WFYR, and two stints at Country US 99 (WUSN). Garcia currently does commercial voiceover work in Chicago and provided the voice for the locally-familiar (and somewhat infamous) Eagle Insurance television commercial. Turner herself is known to Chicago Country music fans from her work on WMAQ, US 99, and KIX Country. Her experience also includes work for Satellite Music Network’s Country music program, and locally at WLS. She’s currently a talk show host at WMBI in Chicago.

With the recent launch of Chicago Country, AccuRadio-developed Chicago Radio Online (www.chicagoradioonline.com/) now boasts eight channels of Internet radio, designed for fans of legendary Chicago radio and Chicago radio personalities. Other recognizable legends of Chicago radio that can be heard on Chicago Radio Online include Fred Winston, Clark Weber, Mitch Michaels, and Tommy Edwards. Edwards oversees Chicago Radio Online’s music programming, social networking, and voicing.

Award-winning voice talent Pat Garrett, meanwhile, is now the voice of 18 country-formatted streaming music channels, collectively known as AccuCountry (www.accucountry.com). Veteran music radio programmer Bill Gamble now consults AccuCountry, and oversees the brand’s music, talent, and social networking.
