Alaskan Dereliction Results In Proposed $66K Fine

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The owner of a Class A radio station in rural Seward, Alaska has been issued a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture in the amount of $66,000 for what the FCC says are “numerous apparent violations” of its rules — including actions that undermine the effectiveness of the Emergency Alert System.
