There was good news on Wednesday – a drop in jobless claims and a rise in consumer spending. That produced a good day for stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 151 points, or 1.4%, to 11,187. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.929, or 1.8%, to 285.433.
The TVBR Television Index was up 7.786, or 4.1%, to 199.959.
US stock markets will be closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.
