The Board of Directors of the Arkansas Broadcasters Association (ABA) has named Luke Story as the group’s new Executive Director.

For the past three years, Story has worked as the Director of Communications and Operations for the Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB).

Prior to his current position at the GAB, he worked for Georgia Public Broadcasting’s WCON-AM & FM in Cornelia, Ga., and for Jacobs Media in Georgia.

ABA President and NAB Radio Board Member Bradford Caldwell said, “The ABA is thrilled to welcome Luke to lead our association. His experience in the broadcasting industry, association work, and energy will make the ABA a leading trade association in representing our member television and radio stations in Arkansas. We welcome him and his family to the Natural State.”

Story will join Angie Robinson in the ABA’s Little Rock office starting in November. He joins the ABA after the retirement of Doug Krile earlier this year.

The ABA represents both television and radio stations throughout the state.
