Big Ben sinks the market

Wall Street ended February with a loss for the day after Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke told Congress that “the job market is far from normal” and that the economy would have to get much stronger to drive down the unemployment rate. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was only above 13K for a single day since 2008 and fell 53 points, or 0.4%, to close at 12,952. Broadcasting stocks fell with the market.


The RBR Radio Index was down 5.514, or 1.6%, to 341.352.

The TVBR Television Index was down 5.152, or 2%, to 257.692.
