Former RAB President and CEO Bill Stakelin will serve as the MC for the Ron Ruth Memorial Celebration and Benefit. Bill was president and CEO of the RAB from 1983-1989. He was a member of the RAB Board from 1994-2010 while also serving as CEO of Regent Communications. Tickets are selling fast for the Ron Ruth Memorial Celebration and Benefit on Tuesday, 2/25 at the New York Friars Club at 6:00 PM.
“Ron was not only a valued colleague, but more importantly he was my friend,” noted Stakelin. “I look forward to celebrating his life with so many of his former colleagues and friends; it’s going to be a wonderful celebration of a life well lived.”
Guests will honor Ron Ruth the way he’d want to be remembered – over drinks, with great company and many great stories at the acclaimed and legendary Friars Club. Tickets to this event are $250. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Ron Ruth Memorial Fund at the Broadcasters Foundation of America.
