A quartet of long-running family-friendly sitcoms are going to Bounce TV, marking its entry into the off-network television programming universe. The programs will fill a key weekday daypart.
The programs are Roc, The Parent ‘Hood, A Different World and The Hughleys. Episode totals are 72, 90, 144 and 89 respectively.
They will be aired back to back in the order presented above, Monday through Friday, two episodes each per day, from 5PM through 9PM.
“Research shows that our rapidly-growing audience is hungry for great family-friendly comedy series. These four iconic sitcoms fit beautifully together and will further drive our already-robust ratings and viewership,” commented Jonathan Katz, Chief Operating Officer of Bounce TV.
Bounce has been widely acclaimed as the first African-American owned broadcast television network. It originally owed its existence to digital multicasting, arranging deals for carriage with a number of prominent US television groups on local side channels.
