GDP results were not downsized as steeply as had been predicted, and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke said that his organization has some tricks left up its sleeve to help keep an economic recovery on track. That was enough for investors to drive up the market, including the prices of our favorite stocks.
The RBR Radio Index rose 5.804, or 2.5%, to 237.121.
The TVBR Television Index rose 5.261, or 3.2%, to 169.015.
