RBR-TVBR First

SWMX COO Figenshu back to Radio
Not official yet, but RBR-TVBR sources confirm that Chief Operating Officer Bill ‘Fig’ Figenshu of Softwave Media Exchange (SWMX), the leading e-platform for transacting radio advertising, has announced his voluntary resignation from the company effective June 29th, 2007 in order to be able to return to Radio Broadcasting Operations.

Sources report Fig made the announcement to SWMX staff yesterday, Tuesday 6/05/07, so look for an official announcement later today from CEO Josh Wexler. Best estimation is ‘Fig’ will announce his future plans after he leaves the building and takes a little time off. Under the ‘Battlefield Mgt.’ experience of ‘Fig’ - SWMX in less than 18 months went from a few radio stations using SWMX e-platform to surpassing over 2,000 radio stations and soon entering the television business. SWMX is already in the cable business.

RBR-TVBR observation: Guessing where Fig will be like back to CBS Radio. Nope, don’t think so. More details later in afternoon MBR and Full details in tomorrow morning RBR and TVBR.
