Caldwell ups his stake in Jonesboro FM

In the process of going from a 45% to 100% stake in KIYS-FM Walnut Ridge AR, Bobby Caldwell will be taking a four-station cluster to superduopoly status, adding a 5th station and 3rd FM. The stations are part of the Jonesboro AR market.

Caldwell’s licensee name is East Arkansas Broadcasters Inc. He is assuming $350K in debt to take full control of KIYS, a CHR station operating on 101.9 MHz.

It will join a group that includes two Country FMs: KFIN 107.9 and KWHF 95.9. There are also two spoken-word AMs in the cluster, News-Talk-Sports KBTM 1230 and Sports-Talk KNEA 970.
