CBS and NCIS were #1 on Tuesday

CBSNCIS was Tuesday’s #1 show in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, NCIS: LOS ANGELES dominated its time period and UNFORGETTABLE grew in all key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for March 20.


NCIS was first in households (11.6/19), viewers (18.61m), adults 25-54 (4.8/13) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Feb. 28, 2012), NCIS was up +3% in households (from 11.3/17) and added +410,000 viewers (from 18.20m, +2%).  NCIS was the night’s #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was #1 at 9:00 PM in households (10.1/16), viewers (16.06m), adults 25-54 (4.0/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES beat “New Girl” in households, adults 25-54, and posted its largest margin of victory in viewers (+11.35m) and adults 18-49 (+0.3) in the common half-hour.  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Feb. 29, 2012), NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +2% in households (from 9.9/15) and added +210,000 viewers (from 15.85m, +1%).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES was the night’s #2 program in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, behind NCIS.

At 10:00 PM, UNFORGETTABLE was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.32m), adults 25-54 (2.9/07) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Feb. 28, 2012), UNFORGETTABLE was up +12% in households (from 6.5/11), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/07), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/05) and added +1.39m viewers (from 9.93m, +14%).  UNFORGETTABLE was the night’s #3 program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, behind NCIS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.7/16), viewers (15.33m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).
