CBS celebrates 1st Monday win since January

CBSCBS notched its first Monday victory in adults 18-49 with regularly scheduled programming since January as HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, 2 BROKE GIRLS and MIKE & MOLLY all posted growth from their last original episodes, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 30.


HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (4.9/08, 7.89m) was first in adults 18-49 (3.2/10), adults 18-34 (2.6/09) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.8/10, with NBC).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 16, 2012), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +9% in households (from 4.5/07), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/09) and added +650,000 viewers (from 7.24m, +9%).

2 BROKE GIRLS (5.5/08, 9.14m) was first in adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, with NBC).  2 BROKE GIRLS built on its lead-in +12% in households, +16% in adults 25-54, +9% in adults 18-49 and added +1.25m viewers (+15%).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 16, 2012), 2 BROKE GIRLS was up +6% in households (from 5.2/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09) and added +620,000 viewers (from 8.52m, +7%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN (6.9/10, 11.25m) was first in adults 25-54 (4.9/11) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09).  TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +1% in households (from 6.8/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +30,000 viewers (from 11.22m) compared to the last first-run episode (on April 16, 2012).  TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night’s #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

MIKE & MOLLY (6.3/09, 10.23m) was second in adults 25-54 (4.4/09, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (3.2/08).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 16, 2012), MIKE & MOLLY was up +5% in both households (from 6.0/09) and adults 25-54 (from 4.2/09), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +690,000 viewers (from 9.54m, +7%).

Part 1 of HAWAIIFIVE-0’s crossover with NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/06) and second in both households (6.8/11) and viewers (10.76m).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 9, 2012),HAWAIIFIVE-0 added +450,000 viewers (from 10.31m, +4%).

For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10), adults 18-49 (3.1/08), second in both households (6.2/10) and viewers (10.00m).  CBS won its first Monday in key demos with regularly scheduled programming since Jan. 16, 2012.
