The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY gained +821,000 viewers for the week of Feb. 27 compared to the same week last year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.
The CBS broadcast posted year-to-year double-digit percentage increases among households (4.6/09 from 4.0/08, +15%), viewers (6.83m from 6.01m, +14%) and adults 25-54 (1.7/06 from 1.5/06, +13%).
Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY continues to be the only network evening newscast to post a year-to-year ratings increase among households (4.3/08 from 4.1/08, +5%), viewers (6.40m from 6.11m, +5%) and adults 25-54 (1.6/06 from 1.5/06, +7%).
