The AFC Divisional Playoffs ran over into primetime and helped power CBS to the most recent week’s ratings crown in both Households and 18-49. The football game was, however, edged out of the #1 spot by the Tuesday season premiere of “American Idol” on Fox.

In HH, CBS had a whopping 9.7 rating and 16 share, with Fox at 7.0/11, NBC 4.6/7, ABC 4.1/7, Univision 1.8/3, Ion and CW 0.7/1, Telemundo and TeleFutura 0.5/1 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

In 18-49 CBS was at 4.7/13, Fox 4.5/12, NBC 2.3/6, ABC 2.1/6, Univision 1.3/4, Telemundo 0.5/1, TeleFutura and CW 0.4/1, Ion 0.3/1 and Azteca America 0.1/0.
