CBS won Tuesday in viewers and adults 25-54 for the third consecutive week behind time period-winning performances by the Network’s drama lineup of NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and THE GOOD WIFE, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 5.
NCIS was first in households (12.0/19), viewers (19.81m) and adults 25-54 (5.3/14), placing second in adults 18-49 (3.8/11). Compared to last week, NCIS added +660,000 viewers (from 19.15m, +3%). This was the best viewers delivery for NCIS since January 26, 2010. NCIS was Tuesday’s #1 program in viewers and adults 25-54.
At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in adults 18-49 (3.4/09), tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12, with ABC); it was second in both households (9.9/16) and viewers (16.15m).
At 10:00 PM, THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (12.76m), adults 25-54 (3.6/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07) for the second straight week.
For the night, CBS was first in households (10.1/17), viewers (16.24m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, -0.1 behind FOX). CBS has been first on Tuesday in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for the last three weeks. This was CBS’s closest finish to FOX in adults 18-49 (-0.1) on a Tuesday so far this season.
