CBS w/ ‘Two and a Half Men,’ ‘CSI: Miami’ take #1 respective times

Season Finales Lead CBS to a Nightly Win in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. “The Big Bang Theory” Wins its Time Period and Is the Night’s Top Program in Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-34.


“Two and a Half Men” and “CSI: Miami” Win their Time Periods in Viewers and Key Demos.

CBS won the final Monday of the season in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 led by the time period-winning season finales of TWO AND A HALF MEN, THE BIG BANG THEORY (the night’s number one program in key demos) and CSI: MIAMI, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 24.

The season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (4.9/08, 8.06m) was first in adults 18-34 (3.3/11), tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.5/11, with ABC) and second in adults 25-54 (3.8/10).  HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted its best adults 18-49 delivery since March 22, 2010, and its best adults 18-34 ratings since March 8, 2010.
 
The season finale of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (4.9/08, 8.10m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).  
 
The season finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.46m), adults 25-54 (6.2/15), adults 18-49 (5.0/13) and adults 18-34 (3.6/11).  TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best deliveries in households, viewers and adults 18-34 since March 8, 2010, and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 deliveries since March 22, 2010. 
 
The season finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.0/14), viewers (15.02m), adults 25-54 (6.5/15), adults 18-49 (5.3/14) and adults 18-34 (3.9/11).  Compared to its season finale last year (on May 11, 2009, at 8 PM), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +53% in households (from 5.9/10), +44% in both adults 25-54 (from 4.5/12) and adults 18-34 (from 2.7/09), +43% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/11) and added +5.24m viewers (from 9.78m, +54%).  THE BIG BANG THEORY was Monday’s #1 program in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
 
The season finale of CSI: MIAMI was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.38m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).  CSI: MIAMI delivered its best households and viewers deliveries since February 8, 2010, best adults 25-54 delivery since April 19, 2010, and best adults 18-49 ratings since March 8, 2010.
 
For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12), adults 18-49 (3.9/11) and adults 18-34 (3.0/09); it was second in households (7.3/12) and viewers (11.92m).  CBS was first among adults 18-49 for the last three Mondays and first in adults 25-54 over the last two Mondays.
