First Time Since 2005.
CBS won its fifth consecutive Thursday in viewers and key demographics as CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION delivered its best viewer delivery since last April and highest adult 18-49 rating since its season premiere while THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night’s #1 program in adults 18-49 for the first time this season, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 21
THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.94m), adults 25-54 (5.3/15), adults 18-49 (4.0/13) and adults 18-34 (2.6/09) at 8:00 PM. Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY added +370,000 viewers (from 12.57m, +3%). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night’s #1 program adults 18-49 for the first time this season.
$#*! MY DAD SAYS was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.91m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09) at 8:30 PM. Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11) and added +750,000 viewers (from 10.16m, +7%).
CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (14.73m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Compared to last week, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/11), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +280,000 viewers (from 14.45m, +2%). CSI posted its largest audience since April 8, 2010, and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since the season premiere on Sept. 23. CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was Thursday’s #1 program in viewers.
THE MENTALIST was first in households (8.9/15), viewers (14.22m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and second in adults 18-49 (2.9/08, behind baseball on FOX).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (13.63m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CBS won the first five Thursdays of the season in these measures for the first time since 2005.
