Class A TV going from one Christian broadcaster to another

KEEN-CA is a Class A television station currently owned and operated by Christian Communications of Chicagoland Inc., headed by Jerry Rose. But not for long – documents filed with the FCC show that it’s headed to a new owner.

James L. Coli and Guy Williams head up Christian Media Associates International Inc., which intends to plunk down $350K for the station. $50K is going into an escrow account, and the full amount is due in cash at closing.

The seller identifies itself as a non-profit in the contract, but on the transfer application, buyer CMAI clearly indicated that it would be operating the station of a for-profit basis.
