Assists management team in the development and performance of all sales activities relating to Internet/Digital Assets of the stations. Works with Account Executives under the instruction of the GSM’s and provide leadership towards the achievement of goals and objectives that are in line with company vision and values. Works with General Sales Manager to establish plans and strategies to expand the advertiser base with new media opportunities. - Executes a business plan and sales strategy developed by the Corporate ETM Digital Director and Business Development Manager that ensures attainment of group digital sales goals through digital inventory management and the development of new initiatives.
- Works closely with Business Development Manager in the creation and execution of the big pool opportunities
- Initiates and coordinates development of digital sales programs with the Account Executives established in conjunctions with Business Development Manager
- Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals, presentations and RFP responses for Digital Assets
- Assists Account Executives with presentations to potential advertisers, help to secure business for Digital Assets as well as traditional media.
- Network to develop relationships in the business community as a method to increase business prospects
- Maintain knowledge of cutting edge opportunities that can be incorporated into our product mix.
- Provides timely feedback to General Sales Manager regarding Account Executive performance on Digital projects
- Communicate corporate digital initiative to management staff and arrange to disseminate the information to the Account Executives.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of stations products and companies capabilities.
- Proficiency in the Engage Training Program.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

The Retail AE will develop and manage new business from small and medium sized local clients within a single market, focusing on new clients and selling standard packages across all UCI local platforms including all Radio stations, TV stations, Univision.com, local internet sites and mobile in the single market. The Retail AE understands the importance of successful cold calling, goal-setting, and time management; and is well versed on different buyer types and their concerns.
Job Functions include:
- Identify prospects, usually within a defined geographic area.
- Pursue and qualified leads, either self-generated or provided by support team/other centralized resource coordinator.
- Make presentation, negotiate and close sales with clients.
- Work in partnership with support staff in the preparation of standard client presentations, order entry, post-sale reconciliations, etc.
- Prepares for and attends internal meetings.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Comfortable cold calling on prospects and ability to address objections and selling “beyond the numbers”.
- Goal oriented with good grasp of time management and lean processes.
Experience and Education:
- College degree required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Sales.
- Previous advertising/media experience a plus.
- Prior experience in both TV and Radio sales and Online a plus.
