In an effort to help advertisers develop creative concepts and content platforms that further leverage Clear Channel Communications audiences, the company announced a creative council titled “Clear Channel Create.” Council members comprise creative professionals from across the company, coming together on behalf of national marketers and complements existing creative models currently in place. Leading brands already benefitting include VISA, GEICO and NBC.


Clear Channel is also planning a radio and outdoor upfront kicking off Monday in NYC and running through mid-August, visiting Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago (see related story).

“We’re bringing together the top experts in developing creative that drives engagement across our industry-leading radio, outdoor and digital platforms,” said John Partilla, Executive Vice President and President of Global Media Sales at Clear Channel. “This is a powerful complement to the creative resources inside our leading agency partners.”

“Clear Channel Create” will generate recommendations for current and prospective clients. Initially chaired by Bob Potesky, Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director for Clear Channel Global Media Sales, charter members include:
