Media broker John Pierce tells us that the deal sending Cincinnati’s WCIN-AM from American Broadcasting to Alchemy II Broadcasting is now officially in the books. The price was $600K. And there is this hot call letter alert for Cincinnati crosstown broadcasters: Alchemy has taken the WDJO calls from its Florence KY AM and moved them to this station, and the former WDJO is now WQRT, meaning that the municipally-significant WCIN calls are now up for grabs for the first time since 1953. But you all probably already knew that.
