How Is Cumulus Getting A ‘Cognitive’ Boost?

0

Things have just gotten a little more cognitive for Cumulus Media‘s radio stations in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Thank the newly renamed Veritone One for making it happen.

The leading provider of cloud-based artificial intelligence (“AI”) media analytics and cognitive solutions has inked agreements with the company’s three big clusters to license its Cognitive Media Platform. This allows each Cumulus station in the three markets to obtain near real-time audio capture, indexing and analytics.

“We were seeking a solution that could index and analyze our broadcast programming, to provide our advertising partners with increased visibility, transparency and accountability,” said Chad Lopez, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media’s New York stations. The combination of Veritone’s cloud-based indexing and storage solutions, along with its search and discovery capabilities, led the cluster to go with the CMP.

Ryan Steelberg, Veritone’s President, commented that his team is excited to be working with Cumulus Media.
