Comcast sees extortionists among merger opponents

Comcast-logoIn its latest filing with the FCC, Comcast notes that those filing in opposition to its merger with Time Warner Cable seem one way or the other to concur that there will be substantial benefits for the merger. And it adds that many opponents are those that are trying to use it for their own gain in exchange for their support.


Comcast brushed aside the predictions of “doom and gloom” from public watchdogs, calling them a regular feature of all merger proceedings which never seem to come true.
