Commission chairs heading to LA for cable show

Both the Federal Communication Commission’s Julius Genaschowski and the Federal Trade Commission’s Jon Leibowitz will be heading out to Los Angeles to participate in The Cable Show 2010, which runs from May 11-13.


The convention is the 59th for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.

Leibowitz will be on hand Wednesday 5/12/10 to keynote the Plenary Session on Advertising at 11AM. Genachowski will appear the following day, 5/13/10, at the 9AM General Session.

Former FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein, now Administrator of the USDA Rural Utilities Service, will be joining former colleague and sitting FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell in a Wednesday policy session, and several FCC staffers will also be on hand to discuss a number of topics.
