Compass Media Networks announced the launch of The Ron Insana Show  hosted by Ron Insana – one of America’s most prominent business journalists and commentators. The contributor to CNBC is expanding commitment to radio by launching a daily long form show in addition to continuing short-form reports now broadcast in over 50 markets. The program debuts 5/10 and will air live weekdays 7am – 9am ET, along with a weekend version. 10 of the top 25 markets are already under contract.

Peter Kosann, CEO of Compass Media Networks, tells RBR-TVBR: “Ron Insana is one of our country’s most credible voices on news, business and politics. He has interviewed leaders of state, CEOs and American Presidents. He has witnessed first hand some of the most significant news events of the past 25 years. His knowledge is deep. His words compelling. His show will be destination programming for Americans looking to understand how the events of today will impact us all.”

“The events taking place right now have the potential to impact us for generations to come. Politics impacts the economy. The economy impacts everyone,” said Insana. “Our goal is to deliver a very compelling and provocative show that helps to put current events in their proper perspective.”

Compass Media Networks and Ron Insana remain committed to The Market Score Board Reports – short-form updates voiced by Ron Insana – now heard in over 50 markets.

Insana formerly hosted a long-form weekend show heard on over 100 stations (including WABC in New York, WTKK-FM in Boston) with Westwood One earlier this decade. Also, Ron was a regular on Imus for years.
