92.3 WIL-FM St. Louis’  Judi Diamond – Producer of “The Cornbread Morning Show” – has scored a show on NickMom, the nightly TV block of programming for moms that airs on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. cable TV channel.

According to the LA Times’ Entertainment column “Show Tracker”:
“NickMom, the nightly TV block of programming for moms that airs on Nick Jr. (after the target demo is tucked away in their cribs), has picked up three new series. “The Judi and Kate Show” (working title) features the real-life Laverne-and-Shirley-style adventures of mom video bloggers Judi Diamond and Kate Frisina of St. Louis…The three series join the previously announced stand-up comedy showcase “NickMom Night Out,” featuring stand-up performances by Judy Gold, Corey Kahaney, B Phlat and Dena Blizzard.”

Judi Diamond is a co-founder and co-host of the popular website show and blog – LipsticknLaundry.com – with Kate Frisina, which spawned the opportunity for the NickMom cable TV show. Diamond and Frisina created the website and video blog in 2007, and the two have hosted LipsticknLaundry.com from St. Louis for the past 4 years. Along with the new show for Nickelodeon’s NickMom on Nick Jr., Judi will continue as producer of “The Cornbread Morning Show” on 92.3 WIL.
