One is commercial, the other is noncommercial, and both are FMs in the DIY category. Neither price tag is going to send shivers down Wall Street. But two construction permits are changing hands.

A CP for a Class A in Eldorado TX is one of them, and its being sold by a name that may be familiar to radio pros. George Laughlin’s GAP Broadcasting is spinning the station for $12.5K cash to Tenn-Vol Corporation, headed by Danny Ray and Paula Boyer. The station is headed for 106.5 MHz with 6 kw @ 277’. It will be only a couple of clicks down the dial from Tenn-Vol’s KLDE-FM, another relatively new Class C2 FM in Eldorado at 106.9 MHz.

The other deal is for WWCX-FM Corinth ME, which is in the Bangor market. The Positive Radio Network Inc. is selling the station to The Presence Radio Network Inc. for $4K cash. The station will be a C3 in the reserved band at 90.3 MHz, with 2 kw @ 902’. The buyer has a pending application to buy another Maine noncom, WHXR-FM North Windham, which is in the Portland market.
