“Dancing” grabbed more eyeballs than “Idol”

0

ABC is crowing loudly that “Dancing With the Stars” was the most-watched show on television last week, beating “American idol” on Fox – the first time that any show has beaten Idol in a Nielsen week since May 2005. Still, Idol won the 18-49 demo.

For the full week’s primetime lineup, CBS won the Household ratings crown, with an average 6.2 rating and 11 share. ABC was next at 5.4/9, with Fox 5.0/9, NBC 3.7/7, Univision 1.6/3, CW 1.2/2, Ion and Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.5/1 and Azteca America and Estrella TV 0.1/0.

In 18-49 Fox was tops at 2.9/9, with CBS 2.6/8, ABC 2.5/8, NBC 1.9/6, Univision 1.2/4, CW 0.9/3, Telemundo 0.6/2, TeleFutura 0.4/1, Ion 0.2/1 and Estrella TV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
