Darrell Brown named Bonneville International President

Bonneville InternationalBonneville International has promoted Darrell to president. Brown joined Bonneville in August of 2013 as the president of KSL Broadcast Group. At the time Keith McMullin, president and CEO of Deseret Management Corporation, BIC’s parent company, welcomed Brown saying, “He embodies the mission of our organization and brings strong leadership and broadcast experience.”


In his new role Brown will oversee 12 radio stations in the Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City markets. He will also have responsibilities for operations at KSL Television.

“Bonneville International is known across the industry for its integrity and quality,” Brown said. “As a group these stations are committed to serving and building-up their local communities. I am honored to be part of Bonneville’s legacy.”

Brown served as president of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Company. His career with McGraw-Hill spanned 28 years where he served in various sales and management roles for ABC and Azteca America television stations, including VP and general manager roles in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO.

Brown is a past chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association and has served as an executive board member of Minneapolis based Internet Broadcasting Systems.

BIC currently O&Os 12 radio stations and one TV station in the Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.
