‘Dateline NBC’ Friday pulls down #2

From 8-10 p.m., NBC and other broadcast and cable networks carried the “Hope for Haiti” benefit special, which was sustaining and will not be included in ratings averages for the night or week.


From 10-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the hour among the major networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers and was #1 in adults 18-34(tie), men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 (tie).  From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline” increased its 18-49 rating by 15 percent (to a 1.5 from a 1.3) and its men 18-49 rating by 27% (1.4 vs. 1.1).
 
In Late-Night Local People Meters Friday night:

Conan O’Brien (4.8/18 in 18-49 in local people meters) out-delivered CBS’s LATE SHOW (0.6/2) in Nielsen’s 25 local markets with People Meters.
At 12:35 a.m., Jimmy Fallon (2.3/11 in 18-49 in local people meters) topped CBS’s LATE LATE SHOW (0.5/3).
