Debmar-Mercury announced that it has teamed once again with producer ITV Studios to acquire domestic distribution rights to the hit series “Hell’s Kitchen.” The long-running series will return to Fox for its two-hour eighth season premiere at 8:00 pm ET/PT on Wednesday, September 22nd.

The distribution deal for the sizzling, long-running series, in which celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay puts aspiring chefs through a rigorous culinary boot camp in search of the one worthy of a life-changing grand prize, marks the third pairing between Debmar-Mercury and ITV Studios this year. The two companies are also collaborating on the development of the syndicated talk panel show, “The Chefs,” and a new US first-run version of the highest-rated UK daytime talker, “The Jeremy Kyle Show.”

ITV Studios President-CEO Paul Buccieri brokered the Hell’s Kitchen deal for his firm. He announced the agreement along with Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein.

Hell’s Kitchen remains a breakout hit, dominating the 18-49 demo in its run this Summer.

“What is so striking about this phenomenal series is its enduring strength,” Bernstein said. “It is a proven performer that we strongly believe has the potential to play across a variety of dayparts in off-network syndication.”

Hell’s Kitchen is produced by ITV Studios (formerly Granada America), in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions. Arthur Smith and Kent Weed serve as executive producers.
