Radio Disney is planning on spinning off children’s radio outlets in the Providence RI, Hartford CT, Louisville KY and Jacksonville FL markets. And it can now cross Jacksonville off the list. WBWL-AM is going to Stuart Epperson’s Chesapeake Portsmouth Broadcasting.

According to the brokers who handled the deal, Bill Schutz for Disney and John Pierce for Chesapeake Portsmouth, the price is $650K.

The station is a Class B on 600 kHz with 5 kW day and night. The brokers touted its large coverage area, serving parts of both Florida and Georgia.
