DJ Laz, a vet of Miami radio, joins LA’s # 1 Party Station, SBS’s KXOL-FM Los Angeles, on Monday 5/14. Lazaro Mendez will host “The DJ Laz Morning Show” from 6 a.m.-10 a.m. The show will launch with a strong lineup that includes entertainment, news, variety, comedy, stories, and more. He hosted the weekday morning “DJ Laz Morning Show” in Miami on Beasley’s WPOW-FM, “Power 96,” for 22 years until he left just days ago.
The lifestyle morning show will feature DJ Laz with a format that allows him to touch on different topics as well as informative segments about the issues facing the audience today. The show will also include a great variety of music, picked specifically for this audience. DJ Laz will play chart-topping songs, debut new music and take requests as he welcomes listeners to his new morning show. Joining DJ Laz are a couple of personalities that will be announced shortly.
Laz has worked with artists such as Lil John, Flo-rida, T-Pain, and Miami’s own Pitbull who he discovered, just to name a few.
