A Catholic-oriented radio group has closed on its acquisition of an FM station serving the South Bend IN market.
The station is WRDI-FM Nappanee IN. It’s a Class A on 95.87 MHz with 2.5 kW @ 509’.
The buyer is St. Joseph Catholic Radio Group LLC.
The seller is Talking Stick Communications LLC.
The price: $925K.
George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services served as broker for the seller. Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties LLC provided brokerage services for the buyer.
WRDI’s primary contour is oriented south of South Bend and just gets into the southern part of the municipal area – and of course the secondary band of coverage fully encompasses the main population center.
The station has already flipped its format and is now known as 95.7 Redeemer Radio.
