Dow sets 15th record of the year

The Dow closed at a record level on Wednesday for the 15th time this year, as better-than-expected corporate earnings and deal talk lifted broader markets. The Federal Reserve’s Beige Book, which said that economic conditions and labor markets showed improvement across the country into early July, gave stocks a late lift. The S&P closed 8.29 points, or 0.4%, higher at 1,981.57. The Dow added 77.52 points, or 0.5%, to 17,138.20. The Nasdaq gained 9.58 points, or 0.2%, to 4,425.97.


The RBR Radio Index was down 8.268, or .9%, to 926.241.

The TVBR Television Index was up 2.688, or .3%, to 920.686.
