Down under radio bracing for Pandora invasion

PandoraAccording to the New Zealand’s Sunday Star Times, Pandora has signed 255K registered users in the nation, and is actively seeking to take over as the number one audio service there.


The nation’s largest market, Auckland, features an ongoing battle between two major radio companies, The Radio Network and NZX. Both claim audiences in the mid-400 thousands. Pandora would like to gain enough strength to do more to put a dent in those numbers – it wants to surpass them.
