The latest acquisition for frequent buyer Educational Media Foundation gives it an outlet on the Gulf of Mexico and brings it access to citizens in two Florida markets.

The seller is Michael Glinter’s 550 AM Broadcasting Corporation. EMF is headed by Mike Novak.

Glinter stands to earn $1.75M for the station, paid in cash.

WKFP-FM is a Class C3 on 95.7 MHz with 25 kW @ 282’. It is located between Pensacola to its west and Fort Walton Beach to its east, providing partial primary contour coverage to both markets.

EMF’s K-LOVE Contemporary Christian format is already installed on the station.
