Educational Media Foundation has completed the acquisition of the assets of Rhythmic CHR WHWT-FM, New Hope, AL (serving Huntsville). Eddie Esserman of the St. Simons Island, GA, office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker representing the seller in this transaction.
Stroh Communications, based in Montgomery, was the seller. The Class A @ 103.5 will be switched over to non-comm. The price was said to be in the $1.4 million range.
