Barrington wheels into Missouri
Barrington Broadcasting took top TV honors this week with a $38M deal for CBS affiliate KRCG-TV, hailing from the Jefferson City end of the Columbia-Jefferson City MO market. The seller was Mel Wheeler.

Radio Deal of the Week
Small makes the biggest buy
Sydney Small's Access.1 Communications picked up five stations in the Tyler-Longview market from Waller for $26M, the biggest action filed this week. And the deal could eventually get even bigger - - it includes an option to buy three more stations, and LMA two on top of that.
