Cumulus Media announced that Ernie Fears has been named General Sales Manager of WRQX-FM in Washington, D.C. Fears is a radio vet with 25 years’ experience in the market. He was previously Director of Agency Sales for CBS Radio in DC and has held GSM positions with CBS Radio in DC and with Cumulus’ 630 WMAL-AM DC. Prior to that, Fears was Local Sales Manager of WMAL.
