The ongoing effort of House Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) to provide oversight of the FCC will continue with a hearing involving the Commission’s Managing Director and Inspector General.
The identity of the former is Jon Wilkins; the latter is David Hunt.
They will discuss documents requested of the FCC by the Subcommittee pertaining to workload and backlog issues.
The session is on the calendar Wednesday, 9/17/14.
“Continuous oversight of federal agencies ensures that government works in the best interests of the people it serves,” said Walden. “This hearing will help us learn more about the commission’s processes and results, which will inform our work moving forward, including on a #CommActUpdate.”
