Interep’s Local Focus Radio is recharged and reunited with Focus 360!!
We know that there is a tremendous opportunity for a Sales Organization to both sell and to market local radio to national advertisers and agencies. The Local Focus Radio Team, re-united with its originator Focus 360, is comprised of both sellers and marketers who have the ability to integrate local radio across channels. That integration will be in addition to the traditional transactional model which Local Focus Radio has successfully managed. With its new independence, Local Focus Radio, will evolve into a unique solutions oriented Radio Representative Firm with its eye on the future.
This is an excellent time to be independent and to be in the position to service and represent the independent broadcasters who truly represent local radio. The entire Focus 360 and Local Focus Radio Team is comprised of tenured Radio executives who built their reputation and success on marketing, selling and packaging Radio as a results oriented medium.
Radio is under marketed and under utilized by advertisers at a time when, according to Paragon Research, Radio listening has actually increased. There has been a renewed effort for broadcasters to bring back the original appeal of radio which is local content, politics and entertainment. That coupled with fragmentation of every other media source makes for a tremendous opportunity to sell and market radio the good old way…with results…
The Local Focus Radio team clearly understands how to sell and deliver results. They know how to translate the value of local radio to the national marketplace and how to monetize that sell into national dollars for their client stations.
The Focus 360 team clearly understands the importance of marketing radio as a local based solution and integrating other channels of communication into the marketing mix.
Results speak for themselves. In 2008, Local Focus doubled the number of markets and the number of stations that they represent. Most of that success was realized through word of mouth from their existing and happy clients. There can be no better testament to success than happy clients.
