I will be interested to see what happens when those on the other side of the issue employ a similar tactic on the corrupt and liberal biased NBC, CBS, and ABC. These three self-proclaimed stalwarts of journalism are now blatantly nothing more than propoganda machines for liberals and Obama. How are they going to handle the loss of advertisers? Stay tuned...

"Beck must be wondering what hit him."You obviously never listen to Beck on a continual basis. He has been getting hit with stuff for quite a while and has expected it and prepared for it. Even if FNC cancels him (which I highly doubt) his voice and message will not be silenced. It rings true for far to many people.

This 'journalism' is hilarious. Have you guys ever actually listened to what Glenn Beck is saying? Unfortunately, those who are thrown off by his purposeful 'theatrics' (which he openly admits to being the 'entertainment' part of his 'enlightenment') are the same people who swoon over our fearless leader's gift for words...people who don't look behind the front to see the content of what is being said (or, in the case of Obama, to see there's very little there).

Folks, let's look at this as the glass is half full. Glenn Beck will be better with less advertisers. So will many other shows. Yes, I know it's a case of revenue, but also consider these days advertisers are looking to place dollars elsewhere anyway and seem to be drawing at straws for an excuse to justy shifts. Fox, let em go...they'll be back. L J

Let's see now...just how does this work? When average Americans turn out for town hall meetings with their local politicians to voice their concerns over the Obama health care package they are labeled "astro turf" instead of "grass roots" and they are slammed as some sort of organized and orchestrated bunch of thugs and slammed for having their opinions. On the other hand, when ColorofChange.org calls for a boycott and orchestrated movement, that is perfectly OK.Which one is it guys?

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds." - Albert EinsteinObviously the person on Huffingtonpost.com accusing Beck of "racially charged hate speech" has never actually watched his show. To me, this is just proof that he's having a huge impact. His ratings are through the roof for a reason, regardless of what advertisers and special interest groups are trying to pressure Fox to shut him up. I'm glad to know who the advertisers are asking to have their ads pulled from his show. Now I know whose products to stop buying.

I hope Beck posts the lists of companies on his web site so that we can boycott them. This is not about left and right, rather about right and wrong. It it reminiscent of the famous CBS (Murrow and Friendly) "See It Now" broadcast on Milo Radulovich. ALCOA, the program's sponsor, was threatened with similar boycotts. The president of ALCOA made the (what should be famous) comment "...we'll make the aluminum and you should make the programs."

More advertisers will come soon! Keep it up, don't let the government employees in Washington get away with anything. You can be the people's CZAR! LOL.

This is very scary indeed. In the 1960's it was okay to "hate the man," which at that time was anyone in government or civic office. Now if you have an opinion against any current Liberal policy, you're considered a bad guy.Where's the true "liberal" today? Obviously the term has been abused to the point that it's lost its meaning of liberty and freedom. Free speech is the American way. If we cannot have FREE thought and debate, what country is this?As professionals within media, we should not encourage the Freedom Doctrine nor any thuggery that tries to stymie Free thinking, regardless of whether you're a Democrat or Republican, after all this still is a FREE Country, is it not?

"Beckxodus (yeah, we made up a new word)"? Wow, you sound like you think you're cute. This is journalism? I am very disappointed in you RBR. What if I decided not to advertise with you guys RBR same as they've done to Glen Beck because I don't like the way you seem slanted against Glen. Goes both ways doesn't it? And the dig "Glen doesn't know what hit him"? Again, you either don't listen to him or have a clue as Glen is fully aware of what's happening. It just seems like you're jumping on this bandwagon because it's a good read. Yes it's news but this is not a neutral article as you present it. Oh and Lin, you rock! Excellent quote. many others here too seem to get it. This is a VERY dangerous time and if you disagree with Nobama, YOU are the enemy and his thugs WILL rat you out. Funny that Best Buy denies they're a party to all of this. They're now in the cross hairs of the black hate people.

It cracks me up that the people who feel the need to stand up and support Beck are the same ones who call Obama a socialist. This is purely a cash-oriented decision that goes like this; Glen Beck's message is offensive to a lot of people; advertisers do not want to be assosicated with that message because it will HURT THEIR SALES. Some people are too willing to equate disagreement with supression when it suits them. And Lin, you're right, this was how Germany was taken, a few of small people with big voices preying on fear and weakness and stifling discourse(and so you know, I don't mean Obama. When you all stop running from shadows maybe we can have a conversation.

For all the Glenn Beck fans who've wrote in, let's try to establish a base-line fact. The President of the United States is not a racist. He does not have -- as Glenn Beck put it -- a “deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture". His Mom was white for Pete's sake! This is a vile slur, and if Beck had any integrity he'd apologize. He hasn't. There is no other side to this non-issue. Oh, and while we're at it, it was a Republican Senator from Georgia who proposed the "Medicare End of Life Act," which was warped into "death panels" by right-wing nut jobs. Read for yourself, if you dare:http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ezra-klein/2009/08/is_the_government_going_to_eut.html

This is my first time on this site, and I can't believe the tone of the comments. I do hope this is all coming from one person with a lot of aliases - but am afraid there are more than a few people in this country who although embarassed to admit (to themselves?) that they are racist, project that racist venom into seemingly race-unrelated issues. Projecting their own dark instincts on others, like calling Obama a racist despite his entire biography that disproves this, or claiming his health reform is socialist, communist, Nazi etc. There are probably also some who are ready o use them for cold political calculations, not worried about destroying the country. Like Rush said...

Fox won't need any advertising with the ratings Beck's getting (which are growing by quite a bit). Fox can use Beck as a promo or lead in for other shows, it's done a lot in sports. Over time it will blow over. As far the battle lines being drawn, well that's just getting started.
